3.6.1 By signing up as a Member of the Association you agree that the content of the above Members Only information is subject to Association Membership and accordingly the information is solely intended for use by you, the member, and may not be copied, reproduced or circulated in all or any part.

3.6.2 Disclaimer Quarterly Averaged Private Roundwood Prices - Wood Price Quarterly (WPQ) information:
The quarterly averaged private roundwood prices, Wood Price Quarterly (WPQ) are intended for general guidance purposes only. These prices are averages derived from data received from a range of growers and potentially include all conifer species and harvest types. The averages marked * relate to average prices derived from a small number of sales data. It should be noted that roundwood prices will fluctuate over time and from location to location and no liability will be accepted by the Irish Timber Growers Association or UCD Forestry Section for the supply of the price data. All growers are advised to get independent advice in relation to roundwood sales. The quarterly averaged private roundwood prices (WPQ) provided on our website and in our newsletters and Forestry & Timber Yearbook may not be copied, reproduced, rebroadcast or circulated in all or any part.

3.6.3 Disclaimer Coillte Roundwood Prices
All Coillte Roundwood Prices provided on our website and in our newsletters and Forestry & Timber Yearbook are included by kind permission of Coillte. Coillte states that the figures quoted are for sales in the sawmill sector only and include all species and harvest types. The majority of prices quoted are for standing sales with retained pulpwood, i.e. there is no value for pulp included in these prices. Since the mix of species and harvest types can vary from quarter to quarter, this impacts on contracted prices in addition to the impact of other market factors. The figures for each category per quarter is the total quarterly contracted volume divided by the total value for that quarter in that category size. Coillte does not accept any responsibility for the uses to which its price data are put or any inconsistencies that may arise as a result. The Coillte roundwood prices provided on our website and provided in our newsletters and Forestry & Timber Yearbook may not be copied, reproduced, rebroadcast or circulated in all or any part.

3.7 By signing up as a Member of the Association you will be invited to attend Field Days and other Association events though notifications. At times ITGA may decide to use online event ticketing services through Eventbrite.

3.7.1 Members should be aware that some (group) photos will be taken during Field days and other Association events. Such group photographs will be taken from a reasonable distance and/ or from the side/back and may be used as a record of the event in our ITGA Newsletters and Yearbook and on the ITGA Facebook page and website. ITGA receives some funding from the Forestry Division of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). Photographs taken at ITGA Field Days may be used in reports on field events to DAFM. By attending ITGA Field days and other Association events the Member agrees to the use of group photographs taken at Field days and other Association events for the purposes as outlined above, unless the member specifically requests at a particular event that such photos where they are recognisable should not be used in any way.

3.8 By signing up as a Member of the Association you will be circulated with reminder notices by email about Association events. Members who have opted in to receive notifications by email about Third Party forestry events will receive these notifications if/ when they become available. The decision to circulate any particular Third Party event to members, who have opted in to receive Third Party emails, will be at the discretion of ITGA. Members can opt out of receiving Third Party notifications at any time by emailing the ITGA Secretariat at This email address is being protected from spambots.
